Well, perhaps out of charector would be nice to know ahead of time, but with any RP relationship (marriage, friendship or anything else), I don't think it is in any way nessisary. Your charector will change because of the unexpected event, sure. But that's not something that you as a player should feel in any way concerned about.

I suppose it gets down to for me whether a player affects a charector, or if a charector affects a player more. Personally, i think that Anything IC can be left in charector, and things like marriage in game doesn't need to be discussed beyond the obvious "I'm not looking in RL, ect.". It belies a certain amount of suspence for "what will happen to my charector today?", and even if that's drastic change such as getting divorced from a cheating spouse, it should be looked at as a part of the story of your charectors life, and only having to do with you and the other player because you control their ultimate fates.

Still, if you want to have Roleplaying that is very regimented and structured, i suppose you could always ask your mate to give their charector's probably future actions as they might affect you. i just see no point.

I'm sorry, but you'll have to repeat yourself...slower this time...
