Don't get me wrong, Dano. I'm not upset that it's a state tax. I'm upset with the premise of even having to tax someone, and it is a tax, for opting out of healthcare. That is my choice and my right to do some and no form of government, local, state or federal, should have the ability to say differently or dictate that I'm at fault for choosing to opt out.

On top of all that, arbitrarily assuming that I wouldn't pay a bill, if required, just adds insult to injury and is a slap in the face of honest, hard-working individuals.
