"Let's put this in another perspective. This is a tax on being alive. Period. This is a tax for breathing the air. And it's 100% B U L L S H I T ."

To expand on what Xeno said though... With MA health care being a state issue, your vote for your state reps and input into them actually do a lot more as local concerns are more in place. You have two options if you live in MA, talk to your state reps and push for changes or leave to another state (easy said than done in this job market, I know). The point being though that the people of MA have decided to take on this issue, albeit with some distasterous results with skyrocketing premiums, but I am sure the legislature will continue to tinker with it or it will go the way of Hawaii's health care program and die.

I was listen to some talk show yesterday and they had on a Maryland congressman who was lamenting that Maryland did not have healthcare and that is why he was pushing for it at the federal level. I wanted to shake the guy and smack him over the head to tell him that MD could have health care and if he was that interested in enacting it there that he was in the wrong legislature. He should be a state rep or governor if he wants it that bad for his state.

"Nothing is free... take some personal acountablity and get insurance."

This coming from the self-proclaimed tax cheat.
