Give it a try - that episode wasn't as bad as they made it sound (in fact it was quite good) - even if it was Joxxer

Basically I see where they're going (thus far); and they're not following the book per se, but the are running with the intent. The way I look at it is that they are doing this like where in the book it says "they travelled for 3 months and poof they're in D'hara", the TV show is covering stuff that happened during that three months.

Episode 1 & 2 (part 1 and 2) were terrible; just rotten.
Episode 3 - about a map maker that sells mercenaries a map that can track the Seeker; very nice little twist.
Episode 4 - about Richard going to the town of his birth; and more or less starting a rebellion (freeing the town from Rahl's influence). Was very good!
Episode 5 - about this kid that can see everyone's deepest thoughts. Another fantastic episode; and had quite a few chuckles.

So far; episode 3 made me go 'hmmmm' and give it another try. Episodes 4 & 5 have me hooked. Yes; it's not following the book - but it does have some good hack and slash moments (more like a Xena or Hercules TV show).
