I did some research and such on it, and I gotta say I'm very hopefull at this point. Sam Raimi mentioned being true to the book in every way possible. They also said where the characters will be true; and the end result of the story will be the same - there are differences they need and will make to fit into a TV show (thus, the different name). They also mentioned 1 season = 1 book. Season 1 = 22 episodes.

One of the things I like, using Revenge of the Sith as an example: Anakin says "All right. But you owe me . . . and not for saving your skin for the tenth time." to which Ben replies "Ninth time. That business on Cato Nemoidia doesn't count." Comments like that will be fleshed out in the TV show. So comments that any of the characters may have mentioned briefly in the book, will be (potentially) added as story lines in the TV show. In effect, instead of making up new stuff from scratch - they're going to flesh out lore and such.

Apparantly they also have a pretty good special effects budget. They talked about some CGI that they couldn't do in Xena/Hercules - and Jurasik Park (apparantly it's the same CGI guy/firm).

And yeah; that was Chase, Chase I'll be more curious who they get for the Mord'Sith.
